Rustic French Cherry Wood Farm Table
An authentically French farm table from Normandy, circa mid 19th century.
Hugely rustic in character with its undulating surfaces and uneven lines.
Planked cherry wood tabletop with cleated ends and wear galore.
Two frieze drawers; one extra large to one end and a smaller side drawer. Both having decoratively cast cup handles.
Walnut legs with steel banding at the base, added historically to raise the table's height.
Many signs of wear commensurate with age. Historic worm damage throughout has been well treated and clear, leaving interesting marks and old wounds.
Fully restored, refinished, solid and sturdy.
Comfortably seats six.
