A restored vintage West Country shop counter.
Originating from Somerset, circa 1940s.
An impressive two plank solid beech wood counter top adorned with scars from a past life of use as a workbench. The base is crafted from both oak and pine and having planked pine back and sides.
One large drawer with central partition and its original decoratively embossed cast handle. A half depth central shelf over a further full width base shelf.
Rustic and industrial in character. Used, abused, bruised and all the better for it.
Fully restored and ready for a new domestic life as a feature kitchen island or prep bench. Equally as well suited to placement in a retail environment.
