French Elm Farm Table
A superbly rustic, original and naturally bleached elm farm table from Western France, circa mid/late 19th century.
Planked elm tabletop with cleated ends and glorious grain detail and wear.
Single frieze drawer to one end with its old brass cup handle and the highly desired extending elm bread slide to the other.
Tapered oak legs which have been raised at the feet some years ago.
Lightly restored to preserve its history and simply oozing character from the patina of time.
Solid, sturdy and damage free. Some age old ring marks and minor historic worm activity (freshly treated as a precaution).
Comfortably seats 8 people.
