Headmaster's Twin Pedestal Oak Desk
A restored West Country oak pedestal school desk.
Originating from the Head's office of an East Devon school, circa 1920s.
Crafted largely from oak with a pine inset desk top which likely had a leather inscriber originally.
Twin pedestals each with four graduating drawers and a further central drawer. All having vintage cup handles, some brass and some copper. Early brass 'Yale' locks on all drawers but sadly no key.
Each pedestal is stamped 'G.C.E.C.' suggesting its maker, origination or property of.
In three sections being easy to assemble and snuggly secures with no screws.
