A super fully restored oak George V library desk.
By funiture makers 'Fred Rushton & Son' of Newport, Wales and dated 8th April 1931.
Stamped with the 'G.R. Crown' mark authenticating its previous life as British government property.
Crafted in superior quarter swan oak with lovely grain detail and medullary rays.
In beautifully restored condition including a new green leatherette top with decorative gold boarder.
Two full depth drawers with their original brass cup handles, both being embossed with the 'GR Crown' stamp.
Well aged with signs of use and wear yet retaining remarkable condition throughout.
Solid, sturdy and ready for the next 100+ years.
Desk top simply removable for ease of placement.
